My work is rooted in pareidolia the way our minds find faces in clouds, wood grain, or shadows. I take that spark and bring it to life through color, cut-outs, and sculptural elements. The closer you look, the more characters reveal themselves.

Ana Maria Gower is a mixed media artist residing in Dallas, Texas. She was brought up by
her grandmother in Belgrade. A significant impact on Ana Maria’s artistic worldview was the
1999 bombing of Belgrade by NATO forces.

The inspiration for my art comes from the beauty that I find in my everyday life. I am a Flower Mound, Texas based artist specializing in impressionist/realistic oil paintings. I am an associate member of Oil Painters of American and have spent many hours developing my skills through workshops and training sessions from other artists.

Naomi Brotherton
Naomi had her last Artist Reception at Giddens Gallery when she was 99 years old, she has since passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024, at the age of 104. She continued to paint and had a limited stash of work that is now being made available her at Giddens Gallery of Fine Art.
