Sara Joseph is a Christian visual artist, writer and educator. She was born in India, but has
lived the bulk of her adult life in Texas, where she engaged in creating, exhibiting, selling and
teaching art.
She is energized by a singular passion—to know Jesus and to make Him known through the
language of art and words. For her, the choice of medium has always taken a back seat to the
thrilling story-telling potential of art. She employs multiple media—acrylics, watercolor, oils,
mixed media, inks, polymer clay, digital painting and words, to bring to life that transformative
story. Once content to merely reflect the material world around her, she now delights to
express her response to that tangible world through the lens of her faith in Jesus Christ.
Her work has won national and international awards, and her art belongs in a museum
collection and in numerous corporate and private collections around the world. She is a
