When growing up, Rachel was always told she was very creative; tinkering and drawing with anything available. She had the opportunity to draw and paint for family members and friends as she grew older and started a family of her own. Her fine arts degree was put on hold when her family, which consists of her husband and 2 sons, relocated to Texas from Saint Louis, MO.
After coming to Texas her other interests kept leading her back to her artwork. Rachel has spent time in many art shows around the DFW area including Dallas, HEB, Fort Worth, Gainesville, Roanoke and Trophy Club.
Rachel is inspired by nature and the human spirit. Her work ranges from abstract to figurative and she enjoys using different tools to put oil to canvas.
Her goals in her work are to help other Artists find encouragement in their creations, to inspire people to see the beauty around us and continue her own growth and knowledge. “Learning should be never ceasing.”
