This painting is part of my Aspen obsession series.   I fell in love with the aspens when I lived in Colorado in my younger days and worked at a dude ranch taking people up the mountain on horses. Later in life I went back with my husband and kids and hiked up an aspen trail to see a lake at the top. I love the combination of the mountain, lake and aspens.
