This is an interpretation of a very tired Mother Nature. Rivers are flowing, grass is growing, and trees are full of beauty all because of God’s grace. Look at the painting from afar and it appears her eye nearest the ground is open. Look a little closer and you’ll find it is not. Just something to think about when viewing this painting.
Mother Nature can take a nap, and that’s okay because God has it under control; but that doesn’t mean that people can abuse our environment. Based on many individuals purchasing patterns and disposal practices, I’ve found that sometimes others don’t think about the potential harm to our environment. Taking care of nature is the message of this painting.
