From the 1st time I got my map project in the Irving, Texas newspaper in the 6th grade, I knew I wanted to be an artist. That desire and ambition stayed with me as I entered Junior College and took all the art classes I could.
Then along came my husband and we started a business making molds for concrete statues and fountains which led to casting them ourselves.
Because the artist in me was stirring, I started carving and creating original pieces and painting them. For forty years that continued but my first love of drawing and painting in oils and acrylics never died and time has now allowed me return to the creative process that I love.
