“Sometimes I lead my paintings in a predetermined direction, and sometimes they take me on a journey to a place that exists in my memory.  The blue with splashes of white along with the small pebble shapes remind me of earlier days spent trying to skip stones on the still water of the lake. I still enjoy this activity when the opportunity presents itself, and still hope to one day master the sport.”
