“The reference photo for this sculpture was taken when my wife and I visited Bear Creek Canyon in northern Utah. It is a beautiful place and is so peaceful at night.
I took this photo when I was hiking. The road went up a hill and then curved and descended to a beautiful valley. The terrain, trees, bushes, and general landscape reminded me of the hikes I would take when I was young and hiking American Fork Canyon about fifteen minutes from my home. The scenery and sensations brought back many good memories.”
