“The inspiration for this painting came from my walks among our towering pine trees while meditating on the Psalms and pondering how God brings good out of hard things that happen. Sometimes the good He brings is a better circumstance than I had imagined, and sometimes it’s sensing His comfort and peace while still in the middle of hard situations. ‘Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.’”  Psalm 111:2
