“The ‘Night Owl’ name is a homage to the term for someone who stays up late. This piece is also perspective art. When you look at it from the front, the different images line up properly. If you move, the image starts to fall apart.
Something that is unique about this sculpture is the openings for the eyes are on one layer and the eyes themselves are painted on the layer behind it. When a person leans left or right in front of the sculpture, the eyes follow you. People are inevitably fascinated by it and it is a great conversation starter.”
