“When I was painting ‘Merge’ I was thinking of two merging oceans. Two oceans that meet & merge but do not mix. There is beauty in the fluidity of merging oceans how two large masses can come together, but keep their own unique elements. The bodies of water have different densities, and therefore make it difficult to mix.”
