“As happens so often, a piece of a trunk from a maple tree had caught my eye several times.  Since the tree had died before being cut down, only a shell of the trunk was left.  But I knew there was some attractive wood left.
After removing most of the useless wood, the silhouette of a mountain emerged.  With a little sculpting and a lot of sanding, the Maple Matterhorn emerged.”
