While on a painting trip to Ireland, I used watercolor to render this thatch roof cottage at low tide in Ballybaughn. The inlet below the wall had layers of water, stones, seaweed and grasses that create horizontal layers of color and texture, my favorite part of this painting. Again, gouache help to give emphasis to the lights.
