“While staying at a dear friend’s lake house in Oklahoma. I found serenity as the night fell, the crickets began to chirp, and the frogs began to croak. Occasionally I could hear the splash of a fish jumping. It was a soft, beautiful symphony of nature’s sounds that was incredibly soothing. I knew I had to create this sculpture as a homage’ to the peace that nature can bring.
As always with my work, it helps to see it in person so the three-dimensionality is more apparent.”
