“Memories That Shape is an expression seeking to capture the idea that our consciousness and personality are shaped by our collection of events and experiences. Past success, defeat, trauma, tears of joy, and of sadness, all play a role in shaping a life. In this work Kyle sought to capture those thoughts and feelings during a particularly difficult period. Frustration, loss, and the daily struggle we all face are represented in the piece.”
